Family Owned & Operated

Tri-State Pools, Inc. is a family business that was founded by brothers Tim & Dan Schneider in 1981. Since then many family members have joined the team in full, part time & advisory capacities. Tim’s son TJ, who has been a Project Manager for the past 10 years, will become a company principal in 2025, as Tim Sr. moves into semi-retirement. We look forward to TJ’s leadership role as we guide our company into a second generation of family ownership.

Almost anywhere you look throughout our company or in your backyard, a family member is working, watching & caring.  No one cares for your project like our family.

A Message from the Owners 

Just like you, we are homeowners as well.  We all want the same things when we hire a contractor.  We want them to be knowledgeable, caring professionals that provide straight forward answers and give good advice. We want our calls returned promptly and expect to be communicated with often.  Our expectations are that day to day business will be organized & professional with top quality workmanship & service provided.  And last but certainly not least, work is expected to proceed from start to finish without delay, while treating our families and property with respect.  It’s not too much to ask.  Especially when you are laying out your hard earned money.  Yet with so many contractors, these fundamentals of good service are all but ignored.  While it is true that the best contractors are never the lowest priced, it has been our experience that most clients understand the value and benefit of excellent service.  These are the “intangibles of good contracting” that go far beyond an itemized price or a contract specification.  These intangibles are often the difference between a pleasant customer service experience or one that is simply a hassle.   At Tri-State Pools we view the fundamentals of good service as our guiding principles to be followed everyday, with every client.       

Since we started our company more than 43 years ago, it has been our goal to continually improve our operation.  For us, it has been a continuing quest that makes our jobs challenging, fun and fulfilling.   For us, it’s a matter of family pride.  We are serious about what we do and it shows in our attention to detail, it shows in our outstanding customer service and the quality of our projects.  Tim and I are confident you will agree and we appreciate your consideration.
