Limited Warranty Agreement

Tri-State Pools, Inc. offers the following limited warranty to all original purchasers of our pool & components. If a failure as described below, should occur within the period of warranty due to poor workmanship or materials, we will replace or repair the defect absolutely free of charge.

POOL SHELL - We will repair ANY crack1 or deterioration in the pool shell that results in water loss for the life of the pool.

COPING - We will replace or reset any coping that has become loose3 or cracked1 within three (3) years.

TILE - We will replace or reset any tile that has become loose or cracked1 within three (3) years.

MARBLEWHITE, HYDRAZZO or DIAMOND BRITE - We will replace or repair any Marblewhite, Hydrazzo or Diamond Brite plaster that has become delaminated from the substrate4 and broken loose3 within three (3) years. Please refer to the “Marblewhite Characteristics” section of the “Pool Start-Up” booklet for normal plaster characteristics.

PEBBLETEC or PEBBLE SHEEN - We will replace or repair any Pebbletec or Pebblesheen finish that has become delaminated from the substrate4 and broken loose3 within five (5) years. Please refer to the “Marblewhite Characteristics” section of the “Pool Start-Up” booklet for normal plaster characteristics.

POOL PLUMBING - We will replace or repair pool plumbing that leaks within one (1) year. Must be able to provide proof of professional winterization. Damage caused by improper winterization will not be covered.

POOL EQUIPMENT - We will replace or repair pool equipment that is defective within the period of the manufacturers warranty, usually one (1) year. Please refer to manufacturers warranty for specific warranty terms and information. Labor Not Included.

POOL DECK - We will replace or repair pool decking that has cracked1 or spalled2 within one (1) year.

* NOTE * This warranty is intended to define a minimum level of performance for the work performed and is not to be confused with average life expectancy, which in most cases is many times greater than the term of the warranty.

Definitions:

Crack1 - A visual separation in the surface which measures 1/8” or greater in width.

Spalling2 - A surface that breaks off in layers parallel to the surface.

Loose3 - A surface that is no longer attached to its substrate4 and is movable or removable by hand.

Substrate4 - Any base or foundation which lies beneath and supports a surface or material.

Check - A visual line in the surface which measures less than 1/8” in width.

Substantial Completion - Shall be defined as the date and time when the pool is filling in preparation of pool operation.

Down Time - Time or duration when the pool is out of operation and unable to be used for the purpose for which it is intended.
